EXCITING NEWS, BALTIMORE AND DC! The infamously turnt Mad Decent Block Party is coming to you this year! Major Lazer, Zeds Dead, Flosstradamus and more are gonna be right in your backyard next week on August 2nd so you better prepare your bodies for the ultimate rager at Merriweather Post Pavillion.
EVEN MORE EXCITING…your favorite/my favorite/everybody’s favorite club in the DMV, U Street Music Hall, has their very own BBQ stage at the MDBP this year! It will feature some of your favorite local DJs rockin’ off in the woods t the very best moombahton, trap, and bass tunes. You’ll see Billy the Gent and Weii (from the very first wave of Tropixxx); that babe from Misun, Nacey; moombahton mainstays like Obeyah and Jon Kwest; vogue prince Lemz; and bass masters Steve Starks, Hyx and Houston, Ransom, Rez, and Nature Rage.
U Street Music Hall will also have a tent near the BBQ stage where they will be selling tank tops and rally towels so you can really get your party on. Hopefully they’ll also have delicious grilled hot dogs (*hint hint*). IDK – IT’S GONNA BE HELLA TURNT SO BRING YOUR A-GAME OR ELSE.
The MDBP kicks off at 2PM next Friday, 8/2! Until then, check out these mini-mixes by some of the artists you’ll be hearing at the U Street Music Hall BBQ Stage! Buy your tickets already! $30 for general admission and all this could be yours. SEE YOU THERE.
