GUYS. Can you even believe there has been THIRTY Moombahton Massive celebrations at U Street Music Hall?! I remember going to the very first Moombahton Massive – I don’t even think U Hall had proper cooling fans yet. It was hot as hell; Munchi, Sabo, and Nadastrom edits were booming over the system; and people were getting their LIVES. I mean, people are gonna have to get hip replacements soon from griding so damn much. TURN DOWN 4 WHAT. Obviously it was definitely one of the most exciting and erotic nights of the month.
Surprisingly, not much has changed since then! Yawl are selling out the club every month to get primal at this joint. YOU’RE SO WILD. Sub in Mama Nada’s insanely addictive empanadas (proper Massive fare) for the infamous pho dogs (i miss u) and a vast, knowledgeable community of moombahton DJs and here we are at MOOMBAHTON MASSIVE XXX. I’m pretty sure almost everybody in the game has had their turn on the decks at Moombahton Massive – from GTA to Heartbreak to Pickster & Melo to Thee Mike B to Munchi - but it will never get played out. We love it!
